Post Christmas knicks and knacks.

It is already doing the rounds, but I could not pass up Liberal Media podiatric insertions in oral cavities: Meet the Press’ David Gregory in a full-of-indignation mode, waving a 30 round AR Mag in front of Wayne LaPierre’s face...a magazine that is illegal to posses in Washington D.C.
I forget who was the first person that realized the booboo and let the cat out of the bag, but now DC Police is allegedly investigating. But that is not all! After mocking LaPierre about NRA’s idea to have armed security in schools, we come to find out he send his kids to Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C., that has 11 armed security on the grounds. The More Equally Swines do have their privileges above the rest of the Pork World.

New York Times Best Seller Author and Head Monster Hunter Larry Correia goes all out against Gun Control and the fallacies behind it. A a fantastic post in his blog that you should bookmark for posterity and pass along to friends and family. If the amount of responses to his blog is an indicator (1,668 Responses) I think this is one of his most wide-spread posts ever including his alleged attack to HK products many moons ago and for which he still gets hate mail.

Our brother Joshua Flashman informed us via Facebook that many out-of-town cops came to relieve their fellow Newtown officers so they could spend Christmas at home with their families after having to deal with the Sandy Hook massacre. Hats off to them.

Anti Gun Groups are still dead set against providing basic protection in schools for our kids, in a behavior similar to mafia dons or terrorists.

Ladd calls me Insurrectionist, I call them by their real profession.

In the “Stupid Shit That We Also Do” files, we have the stupid White House petition to deport Piers Morgan for being an asshat and overall lying sack of alligator manure. Who came up with the idea to make Her Royal Nazi a martyr? He was doing rather well self-destructing live on TV. “Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake. Napoleon Bonaparte.”

Once again: Libs can’t do math. NY Governor Mario Cuomo made the remark that he was willing to go the confiscation way on “assault weapons” (wait, there is no such thing planned as gun confiscation! That is a Gun Nut Paranoia tale!) Since it would be illegal to confiscate without proper reimbursement, it seems that somebody in NY State will have to come up with a billion greenbacks to “buy back” them Ugly Black Sticks.

I’ll be back later… I am sure.

NRA’s Press Conference of 12/21/12: An almost masterful strike. (Part 2)

Before I continue, I want to make a point I forgot on the last post: It is my opinion that LaPierre did not gave this speech with the idea to directly change the minds of anybody in the administration, the press or the Anti Gun organizations. Or even to make Gun Owners feel better. This speech was directed to Average Mom & Dad who are scared shitless of sending the kids to school because they are afraid some nutjob will murder them.

Let’s get back to the speech:

They’re our kids. They’re our responsibility. And it’s not just our duty to protect them — it’s our right to protect them…

… Is the press and political class here in Washington so consumed by fear and hatred of the NRA and America’s gun owners that you’re willing to accept a world where real resistance to evil monsters is a lone, unarmed school principal left to surrender her life to shield the children in her care? No one — regardless of personal political prejudice — has the right to impose that sacrifice.

Nothing but a clear and direct accusation making both media and politicians responsible for any killing at schools for ignoring the obvious: Crazy bastards will target the innocent & unprotected and instead of taking off after the convenient scapegoats of the NRA and Gun Owners, why just don’t do something realistic like getting a guard dog to keep the fox out the hen-house?

Ladies and gentlemen, there is no national, one-size-fits-all solution to protecting our children. But do know this President zeroed out school emergency planning grants in last year’s budget, and scrapped “Secure Our Schools” policing grants in next year’s budget.
With all the foreign aid, with all the money in the federal budget, we can’t afford to put a police officer in every school? Even if they did that, politicians have no business — and no authority — denying us the right, the ability, or the moral imperative to protect ourselves and our loved ones from harm.

I can imagine blood pressure levels going to boiler-busting levels when LaPierre said this as it points out to whomever wants to see that protection was never the idea behind going after Gun Owners but just political power.

National Rifle Association knows that there are millions of
qualified active and retired police; active, reserve and retired military; security professionals; certified firefighters and rescue personnel; and an extraordinary corps of patriotic, trained qualified citizens to join with local school officials and police in devising a protection plan for every school. We can deploy them to protect our kids now. We can immediately make America’s schools safer — relying on the brave men and women of America’s police force.
The budget of our local police departments are strained and resources are limited, but their dedication and courage are second to none and they can be deployed right now.
I call on Congress today to act immediately, to appropriate whatever is necessary to put armed police officers in every school — and to do it now, to make sure that blanket of safety is in place when our children return to school in January.

You want to something now? No politics, get something done that makes sense.

Before Congress reconvenes, before we engage in any lengthy debate over legislation, regulation or anything else, as soon as our kids return to school after the holiday break, we need to have every single school in America immediately deploy a protection program proven to work — and by that I mean armed security.

There’ll be time for talk and debate later. This is the time,
this is the day for decisive action. We can’t wait for the next unspeakable crime to happen before we act. We can’t lose precious time debating legislation that won’t work. We
mustn’t allow politics or personal prejudice to divide us.
We must act now.

Translation: We have the solution here. We have cops and others that can be a protective & effective measure to stop a possible attack. No blue ribbon panels (headed by Uncle Joe Biden A.K.A the presidential jester, that is a bad joke there) that will take too long and will return with the tired old proven failures of before.

Again, Average Mom & Dad is not looking for a lengthy discussion by  Media types or Politicos telling them that the magical unicorn force field will work only if we empty Lake Erie. They want to be assured that their kids will be safe the next day they go to class and that means right the hell now somebody better come up with a solution.

I am amazed that the Media and the Opposition took the bait and attacked the idea. Not only attacked but went full ballistic-foaming-at-the-mouth-ranting against it. “Cops in schools? OMFG! Are you Crazy? That’s gonna get somebody hurt!” is pretty much the message we have heard since the speech. And as they offered no immediate solutions other than “Kill the NRA” we are to believe they rather remain with the status quo which means kids in schools will remain unprotected. Basically they want kids to be held hostage until they get a Gun Ban: that is the message that they are giving and they stand proud on it. It also demonstrates that the “conversation about guns” that they have been telling us they wanna have is just a bunch of rubbish. If they were willing to have a conversation, they would have at least say “Well, let us see what all this means and we will get back to you on Monday” or, “We agree that our schools need immediate security, but we also have to seek long time solutions.” But they did neither instead declared their obvious hate for the NRA, Gun Owners and called Law Enforcement Officers a bunch of incompetent imbeciles that shouldn’t be allowed to be near children. Nice job Sparky!

WE WILL KEEP YOUR KIDS AT THE MERCY OF DERANGED KILLERS UNTIL WE GET WHAT WE WANT.

This has to be the message we pounce everywhere: Gun Control Advocates are nothing more than self-confessed terrorists that really do not care about the children or people in general but on their own political gain.

The NRA speech was a monkey wrench tossed at the gears of the crunch machine that is set on (by their own admission) gain political advantage of the Sandy Hook Tragedy. We will see how well does it gum up the works, but so far and by the level of rage & loudness coming out of the “journalists” it has shaken the narrative enough to make people take a pause.

Now, what did this speech did not do? Some of the rumblings I have heard out there:

It did not call for an elimination of Gun Free Zones. True. And I am deadly set against the GFZs in case you haven’t noticed. It was not the time or proper forum to address the elimination of GFZs and would have been seen as a cross political maneuver: “Them gun nuts just want to take their assault machine guns in our schools!” and that would have been a distraction and give them unnecessary ammunition.

Why did he have to go against Video Games? Do you think Video Games make people killers? I don’t think so either and I agree that it was dumb unless there is some information I don’t have such as campaign contributions to Anti Gun causes and this was used as means to embarrass the hell out of them. We know the bunch of Hollywood actors that have no qualms in voicing their anti gun/anti violence opinions but don’t mind making a bundle of money shooting up people in the screen with the biggest baddest guns available.

It made the Mainstream Media very mad at us. They are gonna crucify us. I have news, they hate us already and have been doing so for a long time. Years ago I though the Media was just lazy and misinformed when it came to guns, but now and after many people tried to reach them and with the advent of that thing called Internet and the other things called Search Engines, the idea that they report things erroneously by mistake does not stand scrutiny. Michael Bane said something along the lines of “I did not know how important was a free press until we lost it.” and lose it happened long time ago. What we have here (with very few exceptions) is outright political propagandists posing as impartial journalists.

This idea is bad and should not be implemented because we are gonna have a new version of TSA is our schools. This complain has popped from some people in the Libertarian side of things, which type of Libertarian I have no idea since apparently are so many flavors that I can’t keep track of them. My take is that it will not bring a new version of TSA and probably it will force States to finally kill Gun Free Zones in schools. Budgets are tight and there are already several states contemplating legislation to allow teachers & staff to carry in school grounds. I cannot think of a single firearm instructor that would not teach firearms safety and defensive use of a gun for free to a teacher or school staff. I would even go as far as betting on gun companies giving LEO discounts to the teachers and staff.

Our job as Gun Owners is to beat the drum loud and long. We need to pester our representatives and make sure they don’t cave to the pressure of Washington politics and Media criticism. And we also need to condemn those in the Gun Control advocacy side that want write checks with their politics that innocent people will have to pay with their lives.

WE WILL KEEP YOUR KIDS AT THE MERCY OF DERANGED KILLERS UNTIL WE GET WHAT WE WANT.
