ChinaTaliban Joe we didn’t strand anyone in Kabul. Jan Psaki assured us that any American that made it to the airport would be able to get out. Arrrgh.On alternate days, if not more frequently than that, the State Department flips back and forth between “you must come to the airport to be evacuated, trust us, the Taliban promises they will be nice” and “shelter in place, it isn’t safe to come to the airport”.
All the other nations withdrew last night. Just the British and Americans left.
