I’m not familiar with their media, but they probably don’t glorify killers the way ours does either.
I would swear I recall a mass shooting at a seminary of some sort in Israel about 5 years back.
Mercaz HaRav (2008): Palestinain entered the school, shot 500 rounds but only killed 8 students which is low by the standards of the area. The tango was shot an killed by 2 students with their personal weapons. The mass shootings are pretty much done and discarded by the palestinians in favor of bombings or shooting at buses.

This is how our children should be cared for – by a sheepdog willing to defend her flock!
I would hope that these outrageous murders in Newtown will bring an awareness to the parents of school-aged children – their children aren’t really being protected by the limp-wristed “gun-free zones” that our lawmakers have erected around the schools of our most precious possesions. Probably a foolish hope, but I’ll keep praying that the scales will fall from their eyes. It’s about time that we all realize that there is evil living among us, as if this tragedy isn’t evidence enough, and that we need to prepare ourselves, and demand that our government put aside the restrictions that keep us from defending our loved-ones from this kind of assault.
With respect, Terry, it isn’t simply that ‘Children aren’t really being protected’ but rather that children are being PUT AT RISK by the existence of such ‘gun-free’ zones. While Nature may abhor a vacuum, deranged people and criminals love these ‘violence vacuums’ and rush to fill them. trying to prevent violence by stripping people of their right to self defense, by trying to outlaw violence, is like trying to cure anemia by bleeding the patient.
Unfortunately, expecting logic from the Left is an act of futility. They will instead insist it is possible to rid the world of guns via legislation (like socialism, it hasn’t worked anywhere it has been tried, as in England) and thereby “save the children”.
I try not to be a “conspiracy theorist”, and I don’t watch TV or listen to the news on radio, but I would be surprised to hear that the shooter had any reason to shoot the children. Makes me wonder if he might have been “encouraged” (programmed?) to do so. Yes, that is paranoia, but considering Benghazi and so many other incidents showing what our government is capable of gives me some reason to wonder.
That’s what freedom looks like!!!!
