When you must act like a pusssy because your masters told you to.
“This is how I’m going to die, defending this entrance,” Capitol Police Officer Aquilino Gonell told House investigators he could feel himself losing oxygen as he was crushed by rioters as he was defending the Capitol during the Jan. 6 insurrection.
I know, he has to push the insurrection theme for this Kangaroo Kongressional “Investigation.” But please, the fake tears and the overly-dramatic statement? Too much and I hope you retire there because other than Portland, I do not believe any decent LEO agency would hire a pussy who says lost his bowel containment at the sight of unruly and loud unscheduled visitors.
Can we actually defund the Congressional Police and substitute them with Kindergarten teachers? I believe they would e more effective controlling the crowds like the one that visited the Capitol on Jan 6.
“Put that podium down right this minute! And you! Is that your laptop?
I can see that happening.
More US Olympic Team bad news
Simone Biles ‘super frustrated’ after shocking withdrawal from Olympics gymnastics competition
Simone Biles indicated her shocking withdrawal from the women’s gymnastics team competition Tuesday in Tokyo was due to the emotional toll she is feeling as “the head star” of the Olympics rather than any physical injury.
“Physically, I feel good, I’m in shape,” the 24-year-old Biles told NBC’s Hoda Kotb after the team earned the silver medal following her departure. “Emotionally, that kind of varies on the time and moment. Coming to the Olympics and being head star isn’t an easy feat, so we’re just trying to take it one day at a time and we’ll see.
“I’m OK, just super frustrated of how the night, but super proud of these girls and now we’re silver medalists. Something we’ll cherish forever. We hope America still loves us.”
Biles also shared that her teammates “were freaking out” when she informed them of her decision to drop out of the competition.
She’s 24, this is her last Olympics. Rather than go out on top or die trying, she bails and fucks over the rest of her teammates.
When the going gets tough, Millennials quit and whine about how tough it is to the media.
So much for our Olympic Princess.
This is just getting more embarrassing by the day.
Actually, yes, screw the National Guard
Just a brief reminder that unless Congress appropriates funds to repay the National Guard for the DC mission, most states will have to cut training and operations for the remainder of the year
Really not something you want to do with hurricane season coming
— Angry Staff Officer (@pptsapper) July 27, 2021
The Redneck Army and Cajun Navy with their lifted mud bogger trucks, airboats, and shallow water fishing/hunting boats rescued more people faster than the Guard, without tackling old ladies, kicking people out of their homes, or confiscating law-abiding citizens’ guns.
Wal-Mart was faster and more effective in food and water delivery than the Guard.
A guy named Mattress Mack, in Texas, housed more people with a furniture store than the Guard.
I’d rather civilian volunteers help than the Guard. They seem to be more effective without trampling on civil rights.
Barely 24 hours have passed and what I said about vaccinated vs unvaccinated is intensified
The anti-vaxers have had their fun. They’re now engaged in open incitement to murder. It’s time for arrests, prosecutions, and serious jail time.
— (((Dan Hodges))) (@DPJHodges) July 24, 2021
Here is some fucker calling for persecution of people he calls anti-vaxers.
What is an anti-vaxer?
By the current standard I’m anti-vax.
I don’t want to vaccinate my children against COVID because the evidence indicates that at their ages, the vaccine is worse than the virus.
I also think mandatory vaccination and vaccine passports, particularly for a vaccine that is still only approved under emergency use circumstances, is a bad idea.
I think people should do their own risk assessment and decide for themselves if they want to be vaccinated or not.
That opinion apparently is incitement to murder.
Moreover, if what is being said about COVID is true, i.e., both the vaccinated and unvaccinated can be infected and spread it, the difference is the severity and rate of mortality is lower in the vaccinated, the unvaccinated or anti-vaxers are not affecting the rate of transmission.
The point here isn’t to save lives.
The point here is to say “the people who believe in vaccination the way I do are ubermenchen and the people who don’t are untermenschen, and to secure the existence of our people and a future for vaccinated children, the anti-vaxers must be collectively punished.”
I must add, particularly in light of this fascist’s fascist impulses, he needs to take down his echo [((()))] which is a symbol of solidarity with Jews targeted by neo-Nazis, because he embraces Naziesque ideas, just aimed at a different group of people.
You can have my pickup truck when you pry it from my cold dead hands
Petty tyrants, especially petty Leftist tyrants, are all the same. They all believe that they are smarter, wiser, more knowledgeable, and more logical, and therefore the world would be a better place if only they could decide what you need, what you should want, and how you should live your life.
The latest Leftist petty tyrant bugaboo is pickup trucks.
They hate them and they are on a mission to eliminate them from your choice of vehicles to buy.
Case in point, this teacup Nazi:
Pick-up trucks are ridiculous clown cars and 99% of the people who buy them will never have a practical need to own one. Here’s why:
— Post-Culture Review (@PostCultRev) July 26, 2021
First off, pick-ups have for years consistently been among the most popular, best selling vehicles in America. But we know from consumer surveys that almost no one who buys one uses them for anything more than daily commuting.
— Post-Culture Review (@PostCultRev) July 26, 2021
A Strategic Visions survey from a few years ago found that 75% of pick-up owners towed something with their vehicle one time a year or less. 70% went off-road one time a year or less. More than a third didn’t even use the bed of the truck more than once a year or less.
— Post-Culture Review (@PostCultRev) July 26, 2021
So the vast majority of people who buy them don’t use them for their primary design function. Which shouldn’t be surprising as the most popular models don’t really have a useful design function that can’t be fulfilled by other, smaller, cheaper vehicles.
— Post-Culture Review (@PostCultRev) July 26, 2021
When you think of pick-ups at the very least you’re thinking hauling lumber in the back. But most pick-ups sold are crew-cab models, which means a second row of seats in the back in exchange for less bed space. Trucks with full 8ft beds are actually remarkably unpopular.
— Post-Culture Review (@PostCultRev) July 26, 2021
What that means though is your average Ram 2500 Megacab is no better for hauling plywood than a base-model Toyota Sienna minivan with the seats folded down.
— Post-Culture Review (@PostCultRev) July 26, 2021
People don’t want to admit though that they’re driving a four-ton family sedan though. So we talk about towing capacity. Except most truck owners don’t tow with them, and those that do can’t tow as much as they think or don’t need that truck to tow what they have.
— Post-Culture Review (@PostCultRev) July 26, 2021
Outside of a few fifth-wheel campers, most trailers people would use can be hauled by smaller vehicles. People don’t NEED the large stuff, they get it because the truck can haul more. The bigger vehicle creates its own need.
— Post-Culture Review (@PostCultRev) July 26, 2021
But let’s look at the people who ostensibly use them for work: contractors, remodelers, construction workers, etc. Trucks represent a fair portion of what they drive for work, but not as much as you think. I’ve seen surveys that show only a third of remodelers drive pick-ups
— Post-Culture Review (@PostCultRev) July 26, 2021
The actual work-horse of American contractors and tradesmen is something closer to a Ford Transit Connect, i.e. a tall van. Enclosed storage area, infinitely customizable, 24 mpg for city driving as opposed to a Ford F-150 Supercab’s paltry 16.
— Post-Culture Review (@PostCultRev) July 26, 2021
Even farmers don’t for the most part drive modern pick-ups, because they’re basically useless for most farm work. Too tall, too heavy. The used trade for 90s models among agricultural workers is huge, because that was the last time trucks were made they could practically use.
— Post-Culture Review (@PostCultRev) July 26, 2021
And the problem with trucks getting bigger and bigger doesn’t end with them being impractical. Taller front-ends mean lower sight-lines. You become both less likely to see a pedestrian AND more likely to kill them.
— Post-Culture Review (@PostCultRev) July 26, 2021
I’ve seen some different stats on this but I’d say conservative estimate is that larger pick-ups and SUVs on the road has caused pedestrian fatalities increase by about a quarter since the mid 1980s. Basically all gains made in auto safety features erased over the last 40 years.
— Post-Culture Review (@PostCultRev) July 26, 2021
The same model fully-loaded, like you go down the features list and check every box, will run you close to $80,000. That’s basically luxury car prices. And most the people buying them are going to finance some or most of that, so just go ahead and add $10-20,000 to that.
— Post-Culture Review (@PostCultRev) July 26, 2021
Now you can think up a myriad of examples of how you, personally, need a pick-up or the one time that it was useful to have one or whatever. But your experience is stacked against the literal millions of pick-up owners who bought them as engorged status symbols.
— Post-Culture Review (@PostCultRev) July 26, 2021
The fact is most practical uses of a pick up can be handled just as well 1) in a smaller vehicle 2) are so uncommon that it’s cheaper to occasionally rent something. Owning a truck the size of a WWII Sherman tank serves no practical purpose and makes you look fucking ridiculous
— Post-Culture Review (@PostCultRev) July 26, 2021
Gonna reiterate this because it keeps coming up but “you” and “most people” are not the same thing. You personally having a regular use for a large new pick-up is not a counterpoint to the fact the VAST majority of people who buy them are suburbanites buying a status symbol.
— Post-Culture Review (@PostCultRev) July 26, 2021
Some people have brought up snow and ice conditions, which, fuckin’ lol. First off if you’re regularly driving in snow deep enough to justify a pick-up and you don’t have a plow attached to the front then you 1) work on a farm or for the Forest Service or 2) are a fucking moron
— Post-Culture Review (@PostCultRev) July 26, 2021
If you’re talking about icy roads then you’re talking about just adding weight and momentum to a situation where stopping isn’t happening easily. Consistently best-rated winter drivers are almost always AWD sedans.
— Post-Culture Review (@PostCultRev) July 26, 2021
If you personally can think of situations on ice where a truck is better than a Subaru Outback and ISN’T just going to fishtail your ass into a curb, then good for you but I guarantee your insurance company begs to differ, and they have a bigger dataset than you.
— Post-Culture Review (@PostCultRev) July 26, 2021
That was a very long Twitter rant.
And yes, I am exactly the person he is talking to/about.
I bought a Ram 2500 Power Wagon with the 6.4 Hemi.
I put it on 35 in mud tires.
Why?
Because I fucking wanted it, that’s why.
I earned three degrees in engineering. I worked hard and got a good job making good money. I saved and sacrificed, and in the end could afford the truck I wanted so I bought it. I could have spent that $50k on a BMW or Tesla or some other status symbol car but I didn’t. I’m a suburban redneck and my status symbol car is a big fucking truck.
I’ve pulled a Uhaul with it once.
The most off road I’ve done with it is the gravel drive at the shooting range.
But that’s completely irrelevant to me because I love my Power Wagon.
This is America.
As a hard working, tax paying, law abiding American, I should have the right to spend my money how I want on what I want without this micro-Mussolini telling me what kind of car I can have and for what reasons he thinks I should or shouldn’t have that choice.
And I don’t give a fuck about his concerns about my truck and pedestrians. That’s that same bullshit Leftist tyrants use to justify gun and ammo bans. “It’s too dangerous for you to have even thought you’ve never actually hurt anyone with it.”
Fuck this guy to death with lifted Super Duty.
I am tired of these shit-heels and their shit-weasel opinions about how their assessment of my lifestyle doesn’t justify their arbitrary standards of what I want to spend my money on.
These Twitter fascists need to understand that they can have my pickup truck when they pry it from my cold dead hands.
Just to spite these fuckers I’m going to buy another pickup just fucking because.
Teacup Nazi fucks.
U.S. Women’s Soccer can’t win but advances to quarterfinals.
The U.S. women’s soccer team turned in another lackluster performance at the Tokyo Olympics on Tuesday, but its 0-0 tie with Australia still advanced the top-ranked Americans into the quarterfinals as a second-place squad in group play.
U.S. Women’s Soccer Ties Australia At Olympics To Advance To Quarterfinals, Ruffling Fans | HuffPost
They are not only win-less but score-less. That is an indicator of a team that sucks the big one and has a huge probability to be massacred by better teams down the road.
The U.S. will play the Netherlands or Brazil in Yokohama on Friday, AP noted.
Both Netherlands and Brazil male soccer teams have a long history of outstanding soccer and if anything got transplanted to women’s soccer, it will be a murder for the US Team. A well deserved one because they disrespected their country and the game with their politics.
