General Mark Disarray

I know I have readers who served in the United States armed forces.  I am friends with and work with quite a number of veterans.  I thank them for their service.

To that end, to hell with some of the military’s top brass.  Their time in uniform is honorable.  What some of them have chosen to do once they retire is some fucking bullshit.

Back at the very beginning of this year I made a sarcastic post about the Navy Secretary carrying overseas, which turned into the mockery of some high ranking Army officers and their obvious deficiencies with handguns.  This picture being key.

I was corrected by a reader, through Miguel’s follow up post that the “tactical teacup” grip (not shown above) is still Army doctrine, or was until just a few years ago.

Fast forward to today.

CNN has hired former Army Lieutenant General Mark Hertling as a military and security analyst.

Hertling was brought in to do a segment on the AR-15.  This is the fucking tragedy that ensued.

General Hertling, thank you for your service of 37 years.

Now please shut the fuck and go home.

That chicken wing arm, stock bouncing around, lousy control was embarrassing to watch.   I get it, he was an armor officer, he didn’t need to use an M-16 or M-4 for most of his career.  Death before dismount.  Fine.  But it is clear from his pathetic demonstration and use of the nonsensical phrase “on full semi automatic” that he has no expertise what-so-ever on that weapon platform.

This display on CNN is a sham.

“Look at that 37 year combat veteran not hit anything with this dangerous ‘high velocity’ rifle.”

The General things that a person has to have a “whole lot of training” to use that weapon.  If it is the same level and quality of training that the General has, that ain’t much.

If you think my disdain is disrespectful, I’m sorry.  But right now this man, who swore an officer’s oath to defend the Constitution, is a pawn in the CNN “these guns are too dangerous for civilian hands” game.

Look, I’m not going to tell the man how to work and M1 Abrams.  That’s his universe.  But I’ve started to get into carbine match and I’m going to be lectured at by CNN and their pet retired General, how this weapon is not for me because he shoots like a a jackass.

This is the worst worst form of the “appeal to authority” fallacy.  Getting some retired career military officer with a terrible case of DC-itis to make the claim that these “scary guns” should only be trusted to the military.

Overplayed their hand on Hogg

CNN has jumped the shark with David Hogg.

This last interview with him on AC360 is ridiculous.

He’s now going through plot points for House of Cards.

Speaking of which, hasn’t he gotten the memo that that show is not to be talked about as Kevin Spacey is persona non grata in polite society?

EVERYONE that disagrees with him is a propagandist.  He’s telling the God’s honest truth, Marco Rubio, the House GOP, they are all liars owned by the NRA and Dana Loesch.

Miguel did a post mocking Hogg’s Aryan backpfeifengesicht.

Now I’m convinced.  Hogg is a high school Goebbels.  There is no lie so big, no accusation so egregious, he won’t spit it out to advance his tyrannical desires.

CNN is trying to use this kid to push a political movement an all I see is a anti-gun Hitler Youth.

Tom Fuentes is a retard

Tom Fuentes is the Law Enforcement analyst for CNN.  He was also the Assistant Director of the FBI for four years and spent 29 years with the Bureau.

He’s also a stupid, fucking moron who known nothing about women, teachers, or concealed carry.

That talking point couldn’t have been worse if he had bent over and delivered it out of his ass like Ace Ventura.

My wife was a teacher.  She wore pants.  There is an entire industry dedicated to concealed carry for women.

This may sound enlightened to the stupid host of the Crap-for-brains News Network, but in gun totin’ America, it’s just plain condescending and retarded.

It also explains why the FBI so badly fucked it on the Nikolas Cruz situation as well as the Collusion and Steele Dossier topics.  This interview only goes to show that the FBI senior management has been made up of a bunch of out of touch, stupid, idiot, dumbass, dipshit, fuckwit, morons for years.

FedEx f**ks itself to death

So FedEx sent out a Tweet regarding its policy on assault weapons.   Hint: it hates them and thinks only the military should have them.

That is a very anti gun attitude.  FedEx is a common carrier allowed to ship firearms.  I know that I no longer want anything I sell on Gunbroker to go by FedEx.   I have a feeling many FFL fell the same way.

But did you notice that the FedEx statement didn’t denounce the NRA?

Well David Hogg did.

He is now organizing a boycott of FedEx.

In one Tweet, FedEx managed to royally piss off the anti gun and pro gun communities.

This is why getting into political issues as a corporation is bad.  FedEx fucked itself on both ends.

This is on top of my hatred for UPS.   Remember that UPS Stores are franchises and don’t ship guns, you have to go to a UPS hub to do that.

All they had to do was shut up, but they couldn’t do that.  I hope the sense of satisfaction was worth it because it’s not going be good for the balance sheet.

More on David Hogg

Who the fuck is paying this kid?

It’s not the Sheriff’s total lack of leadership that caused his deputies to be cowards when the bullets were flying and glory hogs when the cameras showed up.  It is Governor Scott’s fault.

Apparently responsibility jumps right over the head of the law enforcement agency that failed and straight to the governor, who didn’t appoint him because the Sheriff is an elected position.

Nikolas Cruz, the FBI, and BSO were not responsible for the deaths of 17 kids but the NRA, Dana Loesch, Marco Rubio, and Rick Scott are.

Are we sure that Hogg didn’t cross into our dimension from Bizarro World, because he is 100% diametrically opposed to everything that is right.

He can’t be this consistently wrong by accident.  Someone has to be paying him to be this wrong every time he speaks.

F**k you David Hogg

I am getting really tired of David Hogg.

He has become the face of the Parkland shooting moment by becming and activist while unjustifiably wrapping himself in the unimpugnable character of “survivor.”  I use survivor in quotes because he wasn’t shot, he wasn’t even in the same building as the shooting.  He was hiding in a room in another building wondering how he could get the whole thing on video and use it for activism.

“While I was in there, I thought, ‘What impact have I had? What will my story be if I die here?’” said the student, who works at the school’s TV station and volunteers at a local newspaper.

“The only thing I could think of was, pull out my camera and try telling others,” he continued. “As a student journalist, as an aspiring journalist, that’s all I could think: Get other people’s stories on tape. If we all die, the camera survives, and that’s how we get the message out there, about how we want change to be brought about.”

We know that he wants to be a professional journalist.  So obviously he is running towards every camera, news crew, and opinion show he can.  He was even been doing his own interviews of students during the shooting, and has continued since then.

His dad is a retired FBI agent, and for a shooting that “everyone predicted,” it seems that telling his dad about it wasn’t on his list of things to do.

I’m not buying into the conspiracy theories, I’m just saying that he is an opportunistic media attention whore.

He has gone on the record to defend the BSO RSO coward Scot Peterson, for not running into the building to protect the kids.  He went on the record to defend the FBI.

Who he has blamed for the shooting is the NRA and Dana Loesch.

If it were just the typical far Left leaning activism that he is engaged in, I wouldn’t be as mad as I am.

What has really pissed me off is his use of the #NeverAgain hashtag.

Until Parkland, Never Again was a phrase that was primarily associated with the Holocaust, and was a statement of defiance, that such an event would never happen again.  It has been a call for Jews to arm themselves, and fight back against Antisemitic violence and the threat of genocide.

There is a quote from  Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn’s, The Gulag Archipelago that really exemplifies the attitude that Never Again has in the mind of many Jews, as well as other victims of Fascist or Communist dictatorships, and our allies.

And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?… The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If…if…We didn’t love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation…. We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.

When the jack boots come to haul us away to camps, fight them.  Make them fear every time they knock on a door.  That is how we win, and the having guns favors us with the balance of power.

David Hogg has turned Never Again from a statement of defiance, reminding those from groups that have been targeted for genocide to be armed and vigilant, into a statement of disarmament.

Going to through #NeverAgain is now a call for big goverment to kick in doors and take away ]guns.

The new popularization of Never Again has turned it from a statement of resistance to oppression to calling for oppression.

This is unforgivable.
