Netflix joins the woke mob to kill trans-people with medical malpractice
Netflix has produced its own version of The Baby-sitter Club as an original series. It’s new for 2020, so it has to be woke as shit.
This was a preview posted on Twitter:
When Bailey comes down with a fever, Mary Anne rushes her to the hospital, where two doctors misgender her. Mary Anne firmly corrects them.
Misgendering is traumatic. This is one of the baseline ways cisgender people can show up for the trans people in their life pic.twitter.com/EyrenC5QDK

Oh for fuck’s sake.
I have covered this before, a few times.
I don’t care how you want to dress or look. We live in a free society.
I will say I reserve that mostly for adults and that I am skeptical of trans-children. It seems that there is too much outside pressure and influence on kids and transgenderism is being overdiagnosed for political reasons.
What I have no tolerance for is woke transgenderism destroying medicine.
The Left destroys everything it touches, including science, and watching it destroy modern medicine is evil.
Baily here is a boy. Anatomically, physically, he’s a boy. His chart is right. His doctor is right to consider him as a boy. God forbid what happens to him if he becomes an adult transwoman and his chart says “female.” Worse is what happens to women who become trans-men.
But for non-binary musician Rae Spoon, the diagnosis has stirred up another layer of complication. Spoon, who uses the singular they pronoun, had been in the middle of cancelling flights for a planned tour of the U.K., Canada and Europe due to the COVID-19 pandemic when they received a phone call from their doctor saying Spoon had tested positive for cervical cancer.
But the diagnosis was another “shock” altogether, and one that’s been made difficult because cervical cancer is what Spoon calls a “gendered cancer.”
“All of the information I looked up … it’s very hard to find any resources that don’t involve gendering the person who has cervical cancer as a woman,” they said.
We can’t treat women with cervical cancer compassionately anymore because of the exceedingly rare event that someone who doesn’t identify as a woman gets it.
So what happens when Baily comes down with any number of issues that manifest themselves differently in men or are exclusive to males?
If you want to understand just how horrible this is, this is a recent article from the CBC:
Women and science suffer when medical research doesn’t study females
Social Sharing
Medical science has a deadly historical bias problem: until very recently, most studies only included males
Examples abound, said Tannenbaum. “When females are excluded from drug development research, the medications that are developed can result in side effects and even lethal toxicity that affects women and not men.”
This isn’t just about including female subjects into account. There are also important implications for who is doing the research. Analysis has shown that unless female researchers are directing scientific investigations, then the content of the research is less likely to take female biological sex into consideration.
So a doctor can be in a horrible situation where they either give too much or too little medication because the patient’s chart gender doesn’t reflect their biological sex.
In 2015, Mogil showed how males and females use completely different cell types to process pain in the spinal cord.
This has major implications for drug development because if scientists develop a new pain analgesic by trying to manipulate one or another of those cells, then it might not work on half the population.
I guess it is going to suck for the trans person who gets an anesthetic that doesn’t work because the doctor has to go by the woke rules of gender.
The cognitive dissonance here is killing me. We can’t recognize that there are real medical effects that are different in men and women, so more medical studies need to be conducted on women to improve medical outcomes, and accept that man and woman are just ways a person can identify are just societal constructs.
I’d also like to point out that someone needs to tell Bialy that there are no pink hospital gowns and that if wearing a blue one is causing trauma, he’s going to need a lot of therapy to fix what is wrong with him.
There are actual reasons why medical gowns and scrubs are blue or green. Amongst them is that they are opposite to red on the color wheel so blood stands out on them. A pink gown will hide dilute blood, a blue gown shows it off and alerts the doctor the patient is bleeding.
It has nothing to do with the gender of the patient.
Also, empowering a 12-year-old to lecture a doctor is… Jesus…
Honestly, I’d have loved to see the doctor say “after four years of college, six years of medical school, and twenty years of practice, you can shut the fuck up, I have underwear that are older than you.”
That wasn’t the only Tweet on this:
Mary Anne’s friend Dawn gives a thoughtful, educational, and compassionate explanation of trans identity — duh, she’s “from California.” This simple breakdown gives the show’s young viewers a powerful tool to shape their worldview. Maybe the children really are our future pic.twitter.com/zb0pJ4JJsP

No, actually, gender identity is not like hand preference at all. We have a good idea of what causes hand preference and that it is genetic. Gender identity, the secondary sex characteristics they publicly express, very different than hand preference.
My mother-in-law is left-handed. When my son was little he held his fork in his left hand so we thought he might be left-handed too. As he got older and started to draw it became clear that he was a normal right-handed person like his parents and not sinister like his grandmother.
My mother used to be left-handed, but the nuns as her Catholic school beat that out of her with a ruler. She went on to win penmanship awards with her right hand, so in fact, that can be changed.
Not to mention, people generally do not suffer disphoria because they are left-handed and want to be right-handed, or vice versa.
Lastly, what does it mean that she knows this because she’s from California? Her education is shit because they fill her head with woke garbage and not facts? Or that the writers in California think they are better than the rest of us? Probably they mean the latter but it’s definitely for the former.
Now, I’m not going to cancel my subscription to Netflix, because there is so much good stuff on it. But I’m not going to show this shit to my kids.
Who I really feel bad for are the teens who think they are trans and think that they should lie to their doctors about their genders instead of being responsible.
