Good Trump, make those SOBs pay it back

Good Trump.

The only disappointment is that this may cut into my high-performance pneumatic guillotine sales a little bit.

Though, there is plenty of time between now and November for the Democrats to drive consumer need.

New York is a racist sh*thole and it’s not Trump’s fault

For months I have been tracking how the NYPD and New York City politicians have systematically ignored anti-Semitic attacks in NYC.

When the number of attacks on Jews in NYC became both deadly and too many to ignore, the media rushed to blame Trump’s supposed anti-Semitism, exonerating the Leftist Jew-hater responsible.

Have nothing but seething contempt for the Leftist Jews who promoted that narrative.

In the wake of the Coronavirus, it seems that Jews are not the only minority to be abused by other New Yorkers.

“I Don’t Scare Easily, but I Am Afraid”: The Dangers of Being Asian American Right Now

But being Chinese in America during a global pandemic that’s now heavily referred to as the “Chinese virus”? It’s like stepping into an episode of Black Mirror where you’re the bad guy. In the past few weeks, I’ve been flooded with nonstop news alerts of how hate crimes against Asians have become a daily, if not hourly, occurrence.

Even stepping outside for groceries is terrifying as strangers approach me with hostility, asking where I’m from and demanding I leave food for those who aren’t “responsible” for the virus.

This was written by Sara Li, a New York City-based writer and “social media influencer.”  This is happening to her in New York City.

Asian people (some not even of Chinese heritage) around the world have reported harassment, with some cases even escalating to physical violence. Racist analogies of the coronavirus have trended on and off social media—largely due to President Trump’s use of terms like “kung flu.” The suggestion that Chinese people are responsible for the deadliest virus in recent history is not only inaccurate (as debunked by the World Health Organization) but also dangerous.

I had hoped our global leaders would curb such rhetoric. I was wrong; Trump has only doubled down on calling the COVID-19 virus the “Chinese virus,” despite many attempts to educate him otherwise. By ignoring the implications of language, Trump and his administration are not only feeding into rising racism against Asians but also legitimizing it.

The CCP would like to thank this fellow traveler for her service.

The Chinese government has tried to blame both Italy and the United States military for the Coronavirus.  Especially at it seems more and more evident that they were responsible for it.  Not just the failure to warn the rest of the world or lockdown in time, but the lax safety protocols of the lab that is very likely the source of the virus in the first place.

It is important to make sure that the Chinese government is held accountable for the global pandemic, deaths, and global depression they have caused.  This isn’t racism, this is a necessary policy.

These Leftist Asians are conflating race with the CCP.  I have yet to see one say “don’t blame Chinese-Americans but hammer the CCP with all your might.”

But back to the topic at hand.

The ADL has been tracking anti-Asian harassment and hate crimes following the Coronavirus outbreak.

The most by far have been from New York City, then California, the Washington in the area around Seattle.

The Wall Street Journal ran this headline:

New York City Has Logged 248 Complaints of Coronavirus Discrimination
Majority of reports were made in March and April; about 42% have been specifically anti-Asian

When you go into the details of some of these cases, it seems that it is the same demographic that has been let off the hook for attacking Jews in NYC and caused so much damage in Koreatown during the LA riots.

Let’s just say, not exactly a group know for being hard-core MAGA hat Trump fans.

This is just more projection.

Every time the Left says that Trump is responsible for racism and white supremacism, it’s because the majority of hate crimes are being carried out by Democrat voters in New York City.

For anyone who is aware of the racist history of the Democrat party, this should come as no surprise.  But it’s worth noting again, the anti-Asian harassment isn’t coming from MAGA hatters in Red states.

Also, stop defending the CCP.

The media is sh*t it and it makes me feel like were are living is a Soviet dystopia

This is a headline that has been going around different news organizations, as exemplified by The Hill:

Kentucky sees highest spike in coronavirus cases after protests against lockdown

Note the implied causality.  They don’t come out exactly and say the protests caused the spike.  They are just heavily hinting at it.

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear (D) announced in a press conference Sunday that 273 new cases of COVID-19 had emerged, the highest Beshear has announced so far. This brings the current state case count to 2,960, per the Kentucky Department of Health. And 148 fatalities have been reported.

Out of 4.5 million people in the state.  As reported that is 0.06% of the population.

In response to this figure, Beshear determined that the state will not reopen economic sectors or relax restrictions until there is a downward trajectory of reported cases for 14 days, in accordance with White House guidelines.

“We’re still in the midst of the fight,” Beshear said.

The governor is maintaining the lockdown.

This comes after protests surged in Frankfort last week against Beshear’s restrictions, disrupting an evening news conference. The Lexington Herald-Leader noted that about 100 Kentuckians joined the protest, arguing that businesses needed to reopen after more than 500,000 Kentuckians filed for unemployment in March.

One hundred people protested that they want to go back to work.  The governor is ignoring this.

At this point, it should be noted that we’ve been told that incubation period for Coronavirus is up to 14 days.  This spike occurred two days after the protests.  The likelihood of these newly confirmed people all being infected and becoming sufficiently symptomatic for testing from this protest is nil.

Local outlets report that at least 13 percent, or roughly 385, of COVID-19 cases have been recorded in nursing home residents. Beshear also told reporters Sunday that 33 additional residents have tested positive for the virus, as well as eight nursing home staffers.

This is paragraph four of the article.  Finally we are getting some details and it shows that one of the most affected groups is people associated with nursing care, either residents or workers.  People who are or work with the immunocompromised and infirm in close quarters.

This is consistent with what we’ve seen in other states.  Traping people together in confined spaces is the problem.

Having healthy people work an appropriate distance apart doesn’t seem to be a major vector for infection.

There are many people who are out of work who could go back to work if companies took only minor precautions such as extending break time so people could go outside instead of a break room and going to split shifts so only half the employees are in the facility at one time.

That would be a reasonable start.  Instead, the Governor decided to stamp the boot down even harder.

Beshear’s office put out a press release stating that anyone attending an in-person religious service during the coronavirus pandemic will be notified that it is a misdemeanor violation.

He needs to be notified that this is a First Amendment violation.

That is not where this story ends.

Kentucky had been lagging behind other states in testing but is finally starting to test more people starting last week.

So the spike in cases wich the media implied was due to the protest actually coincided with the increase in testing.  This means we have no idea if there was an increase or decrease in the number of cases, only that there was an increase in the number of confirmed cases because more testing was done.

This feels like that scene in Chernobyl where the government reported the radiation level as 3 Rontgen because that was as high as the meter went.

The number of cases in Kentucky could be going down but the number of reported cases could be going up simply because of the increased availability of testing.

As someone who has lived and breathed statistical analysis and design of experiments, trying to interpret a trend from this sort of testing hysteresis is infuriating.

If the standard for going back to work is when testing shows new cases going down, we are not going to get there for months as we keep identifying cases only because we have more available tests, regardless if the disease is continuing to spread.

Given that, I’m almost willing to say “screw it” and forget about testing and only go by the numbers of people who end up in the hospital.  Counting COVID hospitalizations is a much more real-time data trend than ever-expanding testing.

Nevertheless, the facts remain that there are a lot of reasons why the new cases of Coronavirus recorded in Kentucky had anything to do with the protest, or that the premise of the protest was in nay way wrong.

But the implication of every media outlet that reported on it was that the protest caused the spike and the government locked down further accordingly.

This is bad statistical analysis, bad reporting, and bad governance all rolled up into one shitshow.

If Fast Food Was Sold Like Guns – No Lawyers. Only Guns and Money

Now in New Jersey, it gets a bit more cumbersome. There you would be required to apply for a Fast Food Application and Registration System permit in advance. To get the FFARS, you would have to submit an official cholesterol report and BMI to the nutritional police for their OK. Now if you wanted to get a Big Mac or Whopper that requires additional paperwork for your FFPID (Fast Food Purchasers ID). The rationale is that Big Macs are more dangerous than a simple hamburger.

Schadenfreude Alert: A bunch of Snitching Karens got Outed in St Louis

Talk radio great Jamie Allman filed a Sunshine law request for the actual emails of St. Louis County residents who’ve snitched on local entrepreneurs trying to make a living. Most of the complaints were unfounded, involving people “turning in” companies that were deemed essential by the county.

But reading the actual complaints reveals just how terrified the media and corrupt academics have made good people. The complainants are truly scared. They believe that Coronavirus kills almost everyone who gets infected. They believe that washing your car, hitting golf balls at a range, or playing singles tennis can spread the disease to many people.

The 900-page file of complaints is, ultimately, sad. What could be more depressing than a mother begging government officials to put her daughter out of work? Or women asking the county to shut down their fiancé’s company?

Canada to go New Zealand in wake of unpossible

In case you missed it, there was a mass shooting yesterday in Canada.

I know, that sounds impossible since the media has made it clear that Canada is better than the USA with universal health care and strict gun laws.  Canadians are supposed to occupy a higher plane of existence as completely Woke and having elected the world’s Woke Bae as prime minister and Lefty heart-throb.

But the BBC reported on the shooting.

Canada shooting: Gunman kills at least 18 in Nova Scotia

Police said the suspect shot people at different locations in Nova Scotia, many of them randomly. He was killed in a confrontation with police.

He was reported to have been driving what looked like a police car.

The RCMP says that there may have been an initial motivation for the shooting but it turned into random violence.

The details are pretty horrific.

The shooter assembled a facsimile of an RCMP uniform and police car and started executing civilians.  He eventually killed 18 people, including one RCMP officer, before bring killed himself.

The gunman was wearing either an RCMP uniform or a convincing replica, while driving a car that appeared to be a police vehicle, Leather said. Wortman was not employed by the RCMP, authorities said.

Authorities believe he then began pulling over random motorists and executing them, the law enforcement source said. He was involved in a traffic accident and ditched his fake police crusader for a vehicle stolen from a motorist, the source said.

“His ability to move around the province undetected was surely greatly benefited by the fact that he had a vehicle that looked identical in every way to a marked police car,” Leather said.

The RCMP have not publicly identified the type of firearm used, however given the details I’d assume some sort of pistol that appeared to be consistent with a police uniform.

Still, any excuse for gun control…

“In regards to gun control, we took very serious commitments in the election campaign and have moved forward — and are moving forward on them — to ensure that we’re strengthening gun control in this country,” Trudeau told reporters Monday, according to CNN media partner CTV News.

He wants to ban assault weapons and issue a mandatory buyback, New Zealand style.

Not that assault weapons has anything to do with this, but he’s got the ban hammer and everything looks like a nail.

Sorry to my Canadian friends, I guess your guns will be going away soon.
