“She woke up and looked through the cameras and saw the gun. She started screaming trying to wake me up,” he said.
The men took off running when they heard the screams. As an added measure, the victim’s girlfriend even activated her car’s alarm to scare them away.

This is a very happy ending. No shots were traded, nobody got hurt. Technology helped deter a violent crime.
And being South Florida, having an out opening front door also helps by forcing the bad guys to request access rather than force it.

In the UK they use the term “Asian” when the media refers to members of a certain religion. “15 Asians were arrested and charged with child rape.” If you take a look a the booking photos, amazingly they are all look more like people from the middle east, rather than the far east.
Those wonderful security images are allowing some in the media to communicate, once again, who is doing what to whom.
The Brits have actually always used Asian to refer to Indians and Pakis, they use to use Oriental for East Asian but I’m not sure these days, seems to be out of favor in the US, not sure about England.
In Germany they use “Südländer” – “people from the south”. Because, you know, Mohammed and Achmed are pretty common names in Austria and Italy 😀
