Biden’s implications on HBCUs is bulls**t

Biden said that HBCUs were having financial problems.

That’s true but the implication that it was due to racism is wrong.  In fact, the problem is due to a lack of racism.

Enrollment at HBCUs is down because black students are choosing to go to non-HBCU colleges and are taking their tuition money with them.

The lack of racism and discrimination has ended the HBCU monopoly on black students.

The biggest loss in enrollment is from legacy students.

HBCUs are the preferred colleges for first generation to go to college black students from black communities, especially working class black communities. The culture shock is less.  Among middle class black kids who grew up in middle class homes with parents who attended college, they are more used to diversity and choose to go to non-HBCUs.

If your parents went to Florida or Alabama A&M, it’s more likely you will go to UF or Alabama Tuscaloosa.

This has been the trend for the last 10 years.

It’s worth supporting HBCUs because of their role in upward mobility for first generation to go to college black students, but don’t blame the HBCU financial problems on racism.

Nobody passes the buck like Cuomo

Cuomo and de Blasio fucked that city up.  Cuomo is directly responsible for the deaths in nursing homes.  The mishandling of public transportation made it worse.

Now they want Trump to pay for what they did.

Fuck Cuomo.

He should sue – Update

This is from the official Biden campaign account:

The video calls Kyle Rittenhouse a white supremacist.

If Kyle’s life wasn’t canceled before, it is now.

After the Nick Sandmann case it’s been shown that this sort of political attack is actionable.

Rittenhouse needs to sue the Biden campaign for all the money.  Immediately. As in by close of business today.

Update:

Either Biden denounce his own political ad or his election committee gets taken to court.

Lin Wood is a national fucking hero.

It is on like Donkey Kong.

“Don’t go where riots are happening” is no longer a valid strategy.

Of course this is not to say that you should go to wherever a riot is happening and do stupid stuff, but the idea that “peaceful protesters” will confine themselves to an specific area has been pretty much killed and buried by recent events.

This was Eugene, Oregon last night. The protesters left whatever centric/commercial area they gathered and moved to a residential area chanting different slogans (“Out of your house and into the streets” ) shinning lights on homes’ windows banging drums, playing loud electronic noises and just being annoying assholes.

Short of being rightfully attacked inside you home, there is little we can do to deal with these idiots that won’t end with spending time in jail. If you are living in a jurisdiction that allows Antifa/BLM destroy the peace and quiet of citizens, chances are that if you show up at your front door armed, you will be going to be arrested for brandishing or worse. No law for them and all the laws against us, don’t forget that.

So what to do? Be grey/dark. Do not do anything that attracts undue attention. They are seeking a reaction so they can log it in video and share with their comrades. They want bragging rights that they screwed up with a Fash/Nazi, your pissed off face and general destruction of your property are the trophy antlers that will go in the wall of their dens. Keep your lights out at night and keep your butt inside the house.

“But they are in my front lawn! They are stomping on the petunias and spray painting my wall!”  And what are you going to do? Shoot them? How easy will a D.A. will be to convince a jury that you are a menace because you murdered poor Jose Jamal Odinson, a nice kid who was starting to turn his life around and you, the evil White Supremacist, killed him? Flowers can be replanted, and Home Depot carries a long palette of exterior paints.

This is where a surveillance camera comes in handy, preferably hidden so the “peaceful protesters” don’t mess with it. Bird house or squirrel feeder or any or the many things that people use to decorate a garden can be used to keep track of what is going on outside.  You can be on the phone with 911 call being recorded and it is evidence) explaining what is going on and giving a full description (Cops love video evidence) of the actions and the people.

(IANAL WARNING)

And if a sudden attack of stupid should happen to affect our peaceful protesters and decided to break windows, torn down doors trying to gain access to your home, well you can see exactly what is going on, describe to 911 what is going on. And then you can act with deadly force if necessary but only if you are doing so within the confines of the law of your state. In situations like this,  the expression “prepare to repel boarders!” comes to mind for some reason.

Never forget that one simple video will neutralize the words of 1,000 “witnesses” in court.   There is nothing much you can do about the Social Media Narrative once it is established, but it beats wearing orange  from 20 years to life.

Another nail in the coffin for Seattle

From FOX News:

Boeing to move all 787 Dreamliner production to South Carolina

Boeing Co. will set plans this week to consolidate 787 Dreamliner assembly in South Carolina, people familiar with the matter said, ending production of that jetliner in Washington state as the coronavirus pandemic saps demand for aircraft.

Earlier this year, Boeing said it would slash production of passenger jets and cut its workforce by about 10%. As the pandemic worsened in the U.S. and air-travel demand remained deeply depressed, Boeing said it was weighing cuts beyond the 19,000 already earmarked.

Boeing has assembled the 787 Dreamliner in Everett, Wash., since the first of the popular widebodies rolled off the line there over a decade ago. It announced plans in 2009 for a second line in North Charleston, S.C., a right-to-work state where attempts to unionize the workforce haven’t succeeded.

Also, which region of the country has seen four months of continuous riots, an attempted secessionist enclave, and is run by a Mayor, City Council, and Governor that supports Antifa?

The Everett plant, where Boeing also produces 767s and 747s, produced around 15 widebody jets a month at its peak, which would drop to around six and fall further with the 747 program due to end in 2022 and output of the new 777X reduced as Boeing delayed first deliveries until 2022.

I would put money on Boeing eventually pulling entirely out of the Seattle area by 2025, with production in South Carolina and possibly expanding production in Alabama.

Other businesses are fleeing the Seattle area.  It seems like Boeing is going to take advantage of some of its other problems to do the same.  The effect on the Seattle economy will be devastating.
