I’ve see this on several conservative new sites.  I have been hesitant to post it because I do not like posting news from vanity sources.

There is cellphone video footage of a group of kids attacking strangers walking in a park in Kennedy Park in Lewiston, Maine.

At least one of the tees was armed with a long stick.

From The Gateway Pundit:

Lewiston Police tell Maine First Media one of the victims was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. However, no charges were filed.

Lewiston Mayor, Shane Bouchard says these types of incidents are common at Kennedy Park, but points to Lewiston’s low crime rate.

“Kennedy Park is a large common space in the middle of some of the poorest census tracts in the Northeast,” Mayor Bouchard said. “When you have large, diverse groups of people in the same place you are bound to have incidents. Lewiston is no different in that respect than any other medium to large city, except that Lewiston’s violent crime rate is one of the lowest in Maine.”

Well no shit, if no charges are filed, it’s “not a crime.”

The fastest way to have a low murder rate is to not record a single homicide, no matter how many dead bodies turn up.

Taken at face value, here again we have another case of Law Enforcement failing to stop teen violence before someone ends up in the morgue.

At least Maine is a constitutional carry state.  I know firing a round into a mob of kids might make some people uneasy.  At least figure out what non firearm alternatives you can carry.

A violent group of teens is not a thing to trifle with and it seems like this shit is only going to get worse.

  1. In Texas, lethal means of self defense are authorized when attacked by a “mob” even if they have no obvious weapons

    1. I would expect that to be true in any civilized state. It is in NH, the way I read the statutes. What matters is whether the victim reasonably believes to be in danger of death or severe injury — it isn’t relevant whether the attacker is armed or not. Also, deadly force is authorized against rape and arson.
The one unfortunate omission is that deadly force is not authorized to stop crimes against property.

  2. I live here. Evertime I go to that town I avoid areas controlled by “immegrants”
Lewiston is over run with em and they know how to play the race card.
Most sane people avoid that park tho some are talkin about mobbin up and teachin those criminals a lesson..not good all around. Big towns here are run by liberals, this is the result
