It’s never Cuomo’s fault, it’s always Trump’s fault

Murders in New York City are up at least 50%.

New York City reported that between Friday and Saturday, there were four people killed and 51 people shot, representing the number of shootings in the city tripling since last year.

What could be the cause of this?

Disasterous bail reform?

The NYPD having their budget cut by $1 billion by a mayor that hates them?

The NYPD going on slowdown because the mayor and city government hate them and are looking for every excuse to cut their legs out from under them?

Criminals being let out of jail and prison due to COVID?

People going stir crazy because of the NYC lockdown?

Nope, those are all the fault of Cuomo and de Blasio who are Democrats.

It’s always a Republican’s fault, so Trump is to blame.

“Now, the genesis of the crime you can have a great debate about, but the Trump economy, Trump not providing COVID relief, George Floyd murder, Trump’s response to the George Floyd murder, race relations stress, Trump, there are good people on both sides, Ku Klux Klan. So, I think Trump has some liability for the increase in the crime.”

What bullshit.

The Trump economy was booming until COVID shut it down.  The COVID economy isn’t the Trump economy, especially since it’s the Democrats who want to keep it shut down.

The original COIVD relief was generous and intended to be a response to the “15 days to slow the spread” which is now in day 156.  Moreover, Trump just signed an executive order to extend relief to the end of the year, because House Democrats were stalling it as leverage.

Trump said this about George Floyd: “the whole killing of George Floyd has hurt America and the administration is fully committed to bring justice to George and his family. All Americans are unhappy with his ruthless killing and are registering their protest. My administration is fully committed. George and his family will get justice. His death will not go in vain. My first and foremost duty as President is to protect the people of our great country America. I have sworn that I will maintain the law and order of my country and I will do the same.”

The US DOJ is involved in the investigation.

The “good people on both sides” thing is a lie, a media distortion of the truth, and dates back to 2017, so has nothing to do with the current spike.

Everything Cuomo said was wrong and a lie, but he can’t let himself or the Democrats be blamed for New York City turning into a third-world shithole.

Cuomo killed New York and is trying to put the blame on Trump.  Unfortunately, New Yorkers will believe this.

This is my question about Antifa

Let us start with some facts.

We are constantly told that Antifa is a loose organization with no leadership or rich benefactor, as though that means something.

There are, however, things to notice.

The most recent video from Portland shows Antifa formed a shield wall with uniform painted plywood shields.

This is an armed, frontline infantry like the hoplites in their phalanx or the Roman legionaries in their testudo.

Another independent did a thread on the plastic shields used by rioters.

Plywood, plastic barrels, hardware, this stuff costs money and being turned into armament by assembly line workers.

This is a supply chain.

There are vans that bring food to the front.

They also have a transportation corps to bring reinforcements to the front.

We have seen in many videos, like these two for example, that Antifa has a medical corps, and when someone is injured they call for a medic.

And who can forget this:

That they didn’t know what they were doing doesn’t detract from my point.  They were acting as medics.

They have a JAG corps that gathers information to bail out their infantry who get arrested.  On this subject, where does the money come from?

They have an official training manual, Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook.

They have boot camps to train their people to be fighters, called Left-Hook.

They also have a live-fire firearms training detachment: Redneck Revolt and the John Brown Gun Club.

The John Brown Gun Club was most recently seen providing “security” in the CHAZ/CHOP.

We’ve seen the Black Bloc in black and the Wall of Moms in yellow.

In all, we have infantry, medics, legal, transportation, logistics, and materiel manufacturing support.  Their different detachments wear different uniforms.

How is this not a militia for all intents and purposes?

We’ve seen thousands of these rioters.

At its peak, the IRA only had about 1,500 active members, loose leadership, and their support came from sympathetic people in Ireland, the UK, and USA (there was a whole system run by the Irish mob in Boston and New York City to send money to the IRA from Irish-Americans).

In Seattle, Antifa took over the West Precinct in the CHAZ/CHOP, in Minneapolis they tried to take over the Third Precinct, and in Portland, Antifa tried to take over the East precinct and federal courthouse.

How is this not an insurrection by enemy combatants?

Why are we still fucking around with these people like they are rioters, instead of treating them like what they are, a non-state militia in the vein of the IRA, Baader Meinhof Gang, the Taliban, or ISIS?

Is it simply that they have yet to cause casualties?

Because as a student of military history, Antifa meets all the criteria to be a militia in terms of organization, training, and equipment.

Declaring these people to be domestic terrorists to be dealt with by law enforcement isn’t enough.

This is an enemy army on our shores engaged in open insurrection.

The latest insane conspiracy theory against Trump: the Post Office

If you sat through three years of the Russia investigation wondering what the fuck the color of the sky was in the world the Left was living in, that was nothing compared to this latest bit of batshit.

The Democrats are using the COVID as an excuse to push vote by mail.

Pretty much, they want to mail a ballot to every person on the voter rolls, then count all the ballots that come back.  In some places  – and nationwide if they can get it – they want to use activists to go out and collect those ballots in a process called ballot harvesting.

If this sounds like the making of the largest election fraud in human history, congratulations, you figured it out.

Because the US Post Office is going to handle voting by mail, the Left is seeing boogeymen lurking near every mailbox.

No, I’m not kidding.

https://twitter.com/jamieleecurtis/status/1293246051772588032

A truck breaks down and needs a tow, so it must be Trump sending truckers to steal postal trucks.

Trump is stealing mailboxes.

Actually, it’s just the routine replacing of old mailboxes.

Trump is locking mailboxes closed, even though early voting hasn’t started yet.

Except that these boxes have been locked during non-business hours since 2016 due to rampant mail theft.

Adam Schiff wants the Postmaster General to step down.

Senate Majority Leader Schumer and Speaker of the House Pelosi are going to make the Postmaster General testify, i.e., yell at him and accuse him of bias and election tampering.

In the real world, the Post Office has operated in a deficit for 13 years, losing $8.8 billion last year, for a total loss of $77 billion, and $160 billion in debt.

People are using the Post Office less, the internet killed it.  Everything from online bill paying, to internet magazines, to email, to social media has significantly reduced the volume of mail that gets sent.  The USPS was cutting edge in 1850, in 2020, most of what we get in the mail is flyers and solicitation.  It’s the same phenomenon that is killing print news.

Way back in April of this year, which seems like forever ago, before vote by mail was a thing, Politico admitted that the USPS was in a world of shit.

But that was four months ago and we are living in Airstrip One where history has stopped and nothing exists except an endless present in which the Democrat Party is always right.

Since voter fraud by mail is the only way that Biden will win, the ineptitude of the fattest, most bloated, most money-losing, most money-losing, most obsolete, governemnt corporation in our nation’s history will be spun as a conspiracy masterminded by Trump to fix an election.

Brace yourselves for the Democrats condensing three years of Russia Hoax insanity into three months of Post Office Hoax insanity.

This is going to suck.

Seattle is now in the hands of a Communist leader and the dekulakization has begun

Let us begin with this OpEd from the Seattle Times:

Police chief’s decision to quit may have just saved Seattle from itself

No, it hasn’t but there is still useful information to be gleaned from this story.

This is a bit of a forensic account of what happened to cause Carmen Best to quit.

It’s important to retrace a bit where the provision to slash Best’s salary by 40% came from — as that was the moment, Best says, when “the animus felt personal.”

Because it came from Kshama Sawant.

This is crucial, as Sawant’s goals are unique, and aren’t always aligned with the Black Lives Matter movement or others at City Hall.

But on the morning of the budget committee vote on Aug. 5, Sawant put in an amendment to cut the salaries of Best and her command staff. It was so new it wasn’t listed on the agenda, and it hadn’t yet been vetted much by council staff (the amount of money to be saved was at the time listed as “$XX” because staff hadn’t even had time to calculate it).

After only a few minutes of questions about whether it was legal to modify employment contracts midstream (council staff wasn’t sure of that either, while Sawant insisted it was), the council backed the pay cuts with a 6 to 3 vote.

But the one person you didn’t hear expressing any regret was Sawant. That’s because she wants political bombs like this to go off.

At rallies this summer, she has expressed support for completely abolishing police (to which she adds that the police’s paymaster, the capitalist system, must be taken down, too).

“And that will only happen when we fight a revolution!” she urged at the Capitol Hill Organized Protest in June.

In addition to defunding Chief Best, it was Sawant who offered a plan of police cuts so deep that staff wrote “SPD may not be able to make this reduction without eliminating all or nearly all staff.” Even knowing this — that her plan could lay off the entire department — she pushed it to a vote anyway (it didn’t pass).

So the resignation of one chief? That’s just the appetizer.

Kshama Sawant put forth a TBD cut to the chief of police’s salary that was intended to cause the chief to quit.  She put forth a resolution to cut the police budget that was intended to cause police layoffs.

It is important to know that Kshama Sawant is an avowed communist.  She is a mouthpiece for Socialist Alternative which is a Trotskyist political party.

She is the city council member that pushed the Amazon wealth tax.

She was also a leader in the formation and defender of the CHAZ/CHOP.

She is now the de facto leader of the Seattle City Council and clearly has more influence than the mayor.

The purpose of this is clear.  To eliminate the threat of the police to her communist Antifa goon squad and what they are doing next.

What has been the result of this?

Nightly property destruction.

And Antifa threatening businesses that report property destruction.

This is driving business out of the city.

A communist leader encouraging violence against business owners and driving them to exile.  We have a word for that: dekulakization.

Today the Left calls these people gentrifiers instead of Kulaks, but it is exactly the same thing.

These people have and the violent socialist want it, so are attacking those who have and destroying and stealing their property.

Just as dekulakization lead to a famine in the Soviet Union, this anti-gentrification violence will lead to an economic famine in the city.

Seattle is undergoing a low-grade Soviet-style communist revolution.  This is happening in real-time before our eyes.

Exceeding a duty to retreat

Miguel posted this video:

His focus was on the fat guy with the bat hitting the person.

Andy Ngo posted another video from Portland:

The common theme between these two videos is that in both cases the people targeted by Antifa were leaving the situation and were being followed and harassed and assaulted while they were leaving.

These people were retreating and Antifa kept persuing.

IANAL but to me, it seems that once you have started your retreat if your attackers continue to follow you and threaten you while you are retreating you have cleared every threshold to justify the use of lethal force.

“I was walking away.  I was leaving the protest.  The followed me and continued to hit me while chasing me.”

It’s not just chasing people.  I’m going to post this video again:

Antifa slammed the door on this woman as she tried to enter her own home, keeping her from retreating into her own house.

I have to agree with Miguel here, this is at the point where good people are going to start shooting Antifa.

Not just are they driving people out of public places, but they are chasing them while they retreat, following them home, and cornering them so they cannot escape.

I’ll also agree with Miguel on this point too, I now have an old police surplus Mossberg 500 that lives in the toolbox of the pickup.  I’ve reached the point where having a long gun outside the home has become part of my in-vehicle EDC gear.

Dwight does not like what I write in the blog.

Dwight left what he thought to be a rather smart and scathing comment about how my blog (emphasis in “mine”) is disappointing him because I do not cover what he wants:

Virtually all of the political garbage that is covered here is of no interest to me. I enjoy reading about gun issues and was originally attracted to the blog because of its title. But the more I stick around the more I see that it’s not so much guns but the politics of guns…and just plain politics…that you all are into here. If the issue doesn’t fit into your politics or once it falls out of your narrative, you don’t like to spend time on it. Which, of course, was my point with my initial comment that pointed out Miguel’s stunning lack of self awareness.

Your implication that if you can drum up more money from your readers, you’ll be able to do more google searches is as transparently insincere as it is ridiculous.

I’m not a troll. I’m genuinely interested in discussing guns and gun issues. Excuse me for point out the obvious that the Baca shooting is a damn good case study in the use of deadly force for those who are interested in such things rather than what Alyssa Milano or antifa is up to today. Which, strangely, you and your co-writer apparently have all the time in the world to write about.

I actually wrote all this as a reply to his comment, but I figured I should not waste it and use it as post fodder

“Virtually all of the political garbage that is covered here is of no interest to me.”
Yet, you keep coming. Masochism?

” I enjoy reading about gun issues and was originally attracted to the blog because of its title.”
I told the people in marketing that it would work… and it did!

“But the more I stick around the more I see that it’s not so much guns but the politics of guns…and just plain politics…that you all are into here.”
Once again: My blog, my rules. Why is this such a difficult concept to understand?

” If the issue doesn’t fit into your politics or once it falls out of your narrative, you don’t like to spend time on it.”
I am also not into the politics West Coast Midget Clown Porn or the sociological differences between brown and white eggs, so no, I am not going to delve into it.

“Which, of course, was my point with my initial comment that pointed out Miguel’s stunning lack of self awareness.”
I already have a wife to nag on me and I bet you are much less fun in bed. Reasons enough to ignore your sad ministrations.

“Your implication that if you can drum up more money from your readers, you’ll be able to do more google searches is as transparently insincere as it is ridiculous.”
So is your bitching. I guess you finally processed the sarcasm?

“I’m not a troll.”
Opinions vary
(Name the movie)

” I’m genuinely interested in discussing guns and gun issues.”
There is a great variety of blogs and sites that carry AK v AR, 9mm v .45 and Glock v 1911. plus the assorted variety of Chest Thumping masturbators. Feel free to visit them and save your time coming here.

“Excuse me for point out the obvious that the Baca shooting is a damn good case study in the use of deadly force for those who are interested in such things”
Are you a lawyer? I already made my opinion clear and I reckon I don’t need to repeat myself 3 times a week just to make you happy. There is nothing much to do but watch the trial and actually check out what Andrew Branca will discuss about it. I am sure he might do analysis of it much better than me or J. Kb can do. He did a phenomenal job with the Zimmerman trial.

“rather than what Alyssa Milano or antifa is up to today. Which, strangely, you and your co-writer apparently have all the time in the world to write about.”
Once again: My blog, my rules. I write what I want about and I don’t owe you a darned thing. You are not entitled to forcing me to write what you want, you may think you do, but it may get sporty if you present that idea to me in real life.

There is the door. Good-bye.
