I saw Miguel’s post while I was working on another post.  I decided to drop that one and write this one instead.

Community mourns Garrett Foster who was fatally shot during downtown Austin protest

Police confirmed Sunday evening that Foster was shot multiple times after a car turned into a group of demonstrators at 4th Street and Congress Avenue. The driver of that car told police they had fired a handgun at someone who approached their driver-side window and pointed an assault-type weapon at them. Demonstrators who were present that night, however, tell KXAN this driver “aggressively accelerated” into the crowd of people.

Less than a month ago I posted about protesters who shot a driver after they blocked in his car at an intersection in Provo, Utah.

The post I was working was about protesters shooting at a Jeep in Aurora, Colorado.

This was the scene in on I-225 in Aurora, Colorado, how protesters were handling traffic.

That is some scary shit.

A guy in a blue Jeep Wrangler didn’t stop for the protests and barreled on through.

You can see the damage done to the Jeep.

Aerial video shows the Jeep going trough the protest but not swerving to hit protesters as protesters throw things at the Jeep.

The driver pulled over and was met by police (seen in above Tweet) but was not handcuffed.  Suggesting that the driver was not deliberately trying run over protests – as the protesters accuse – but was trying to get out of a threatening situation like the driver in Oklahoma I recently covered.

So right now, for a driver caught in a protest it is dangerous as hell.  These people are attacking cars, shooting at cars, threatening drivers.

So this guy in Austin, probably with all this on his mind, sees a protester coming towards him with an AK, possibly pointing it at him.

The driver was probably scared shitless and decided to drop Mr. OC before Mr. OC put a bunch of extra holes in his car.

I don’t care if Garret was a 2A guy.  He played a stupid game and won a stupid prize.

These protests are not the time and place to open carry.  There is too much stupid shit going on and all you are going to do is make a target out of yourself.

Stay the fuck home before you get confused for the enemy and get ventilated.

Austin BLM shooting: Another Angle (UPDATE)

This is a video the still does not show the actual shooting, but you do not need to be  an expert to appreciate the moment.

The vehicle involved comes from the right of the screen and turns right suddenly facing the “peaceful protesters”. They swarm the car and one of the crowd has an AK slung across his chest?

I know, it is an AK-type

Stupid move.

One of the residents of that building has a Twitter account.

His apartment is damaged, he may not be able to return home for some time, he lives in the middle of riot central, so what conclusion does he come to?

 

Yup.

They are just peaceful protests until they burn the business below your apartment and possibly leave explosives behind.

This is why Federal LEOs wear masks and don’t have name tapes

Chad Wolf is the DHS Secretary.  If need be, he has the weight of the federal government behind him to provide security.

For your average US Marshall, Border Patrol, or DHS officer, that is nonexistent.

This could, and presumably would, happen to every LEO that defended federal property in Portland and Seattle.

The threats are personal.  This is the tactic used by the Left, personal intimidation.

They made this necessary and now complain about the results.

This is where the lionizing of our veterans and first responders has backfired

The 9/11 attack was the first attack on US territory since Pearl Harbor and the first attack on the mainland United States since the war of 1812.

It was the first time since WWII that we had a “moral mandate” to go to war, unlike the pop culture opinion of Korea (if they remember it at all) or Vietnam where it was US imperialism in Asia for as part of the Cold War, yadda, yadda, yadda.

Consequently, Americans who joined up to fight in the Middle East, and veterans of those wars were lionized.

First reponders were lionized as well because of the loss of life and rescue operation at Ground Zero.

That is now backfiring on us.  Hard.

I cannot hammer this home hard enough.  While the military has always recruited apolitically and from all walks of American life, there is an undeniable hard-Left presence in the military and among our veterans.

The Right’s lionizing of the military and veterans now gives these radicals cover.  They can be openly insurrectionist socialists, but they are veterans and therefore shielded from criticism and their patriotism is unimpeachable.

Only a couple of weeks ago I wrote a post about Army aviation, combat wounded veteran, Senator Tammy Duckworth, who used her wounded veteran status to deflect criticism for agreeing with the destruction of statues of George Washington.  The very profile on the Purple Heart she uses as a shield.

What we have seen in Portland is insurrectionism.  It is a low-grade version of the siege of Fort Sumter.  A group of radicals who hate the United States has spent weeks assaulting federal property, a Federal Courthouse, breaking the windows and trying to set it on fire.

US federal law enforcement has steadfastly defended the federal courthouse from total destruction, as is its duty.

The pop culture has declared the LEOs to be “Gestapo,” “stormtroopers,” and “jackbooted thugs.”

As of Friday night, the Leftist veterans of the US military are now out acting as human shields for the Antifa trying to destroy federal property.

I am not going to say that these people are not veterans.  I believe them when they say that they are.  You can question if they signed up out of patriotism or if they did it just for the college tuition.  It doesn’t matter.  The lionizing of our veterans means that we cannot ask that or parse those two groups into different categories.

The message is: “they served and therefore they are better, more moral, more patriotic, and nobler than you, you piece of shit Right-wing civilian who was too lazy or cowardly to serve.”

This is a US Army veteran using his veteran status, and uniform, to tell us that this is the federal government’s fault.

This is some of what these veterans are defending.

Yes, that is Antifa using power tools to cut through the metal fences erected to protect the federal courthouse from vandalism.

How is that anything but an attempted breaching assault on federal property?

Here is someone throwing improvised explosive ordnance at federal law enforcement.

Notice the green laser on the wall.  These are the high power green lasers that have been used to cause permanent eye damage to federal law enforcement.

Just as a reminder, in 1995, an international protocol was established to prohibit the use of laser blinding weapons in war.  If this really was a war, Antifa would be committing war crimes.

Here are nurses acting as human shields.

 

We were just lionizing nurses because they were putting their lives on the line in the fight against COVID.  That makes them heroes.  We’re just going to ignore the number of TikTok videos they did out of boredom because hospitals stopped doing elective procedures for months on end.

We can’t question the goodness of nurses.

I will say it again.

These are insurrectionists – the same demographic that in Portland and Seattle established autonomous zones – engaged in a protracted siege of federal property with improvised explosive devices, incendiary weapons, and blinding laser weapons, in violation of international rules of war.

Veterans, nurses, moms, etc, are defending this using their status as lionized and protected groups.

We are losing the battle and the propaganda war.

The Portland federal courthouse is Fort Sumter of the low-grade anti-Trump civil war that we are in.

When Karens Attack.

So this happened today at dusty rhodes dog park today in ocean beach. This is my husband getting maced by a random old lady. We had our 3 month old pug with us. We were just sitting down eating lunch and minding our own business. We were not wearing masks because we were eating. You can’t wear a mask and eat at the same time. She kept calling us idiots and flipping me off. Then she started saying more stuff and I told her to leave the park and stop harassing us. She then came right up to our table wear we were eating, pointed the mace at me first and got a little on me, and then my husband stepped in and took the entire can. Thank god for the bystander that took this video because we are going to the police now to press charges. I am sharing this because people need to watch out for this lady in San Diego. Please share to spread awareness. That is me crying hysterically in the background because my innocent husband just got maced for no reason. We want justice.

Yesterday I was watching a video compilation of busybody Karens bitching about masks and being overall idiots and thinking that we were getting too close to somebody being actually hurt. Jinx!

This is direct result of the exaggeration of fear exacted upon all of us by the Media and the politicians. Yes, it is contagious, but it ain’t Ebola even though it is being pushed as instant death if you catch it

And, of course, more cases like this or worse to come .
