We have seen the videos of mobs attacking a person in this blog, right? And you carry a gun for protection too, but the question that needs to be answered is: How to shoot when violence is on top of you.
Here are some videos that explain Shooting from Retention but please get both training and practice so your can acquire and perfect the skill.
A tourist was savagely beaten, stomped and spit on by a gang of over a dozen youths at the entrance to the Washington Hilton Hotel around 1 a.m. on July 14, according to Washington, D.C. police who released hotel surveillance video showing the brutal unprovoked attack.
I think we can safely say we are in a new era of mob violence for violence’s sake. I am not going to give you a 500 word essay on the collapse of civility and good manners as we know what is going on. The only thing I can say is to understand we are in slow crescendo of violence, instigated by elements that see it as a valid political tool and that you should expect coming to a neighborhood near you.
So, some observations I feel I need to share.
Realize there is no such ting as a safe place.
Nobody will rush save you.
Carry a gun because you don’t know when you are going to need it
It is OK to get the hell out of Dodge.
Self Defense is not a sporting event. Fairness is out the window when your life is at risk.
A 24-year-old man from Berkley was brutally beaten to death after a seemingly minor car crash on Detroit’s west side early Monday morning. The crash and beating were caught on surveillance video from a nearby gas station.
Look how that first punch to the head sent Mr. Wingate to the ground. The subsequent beating killed him.
While the city is showing support to Wingate’s heartbroken family, Detroit police are on the hunt for his suspected killer: 23-year-old Lawrence Davis.
Detroit police say Monday at 2 a.m., Wingate and Davis got into a car accident outside a gas station on Davison and Livernois.
“This young man did nothing and it appeared that he was trying to cooperate,” Craig said.
But surveillance video shows Davis walking right up to Wingate and punching him in the face.
“The suspect became enraged and unprovoked, began to strike this victim several times, knocking him to the ground,” Craig said.
Much of the video is too graphic to show. Police say it appears, with witnesses standing by, that Davis continued to punch, kick, and even stomp on Wingate.
The Wayne County Medical Examiner’s Office says the young man died from blunt force trauma to his head and neck.
“It may have been the final kick by the suspect to the victim’s head that may have been the fatal blow,” Craig said.
Punched in the face then kicked and stomped in the head until he died, and it only took a few seconds.
Unarmed does not mean “not dangerous.” A young man is now dead because a thug with fists and feet had murder in his heart.
Always obey the law when it comes to concealed carry and use of force.
I just think it is time that the law recognizes the reality of the dangers that a barehanded beating can present.
When a grown man throws a punch to the head, that can be lethal. The law should respect that and allow the use of lethal force in return.
After reading J. Kb’s post, I shook my head and went to check the Book of Feces. This video popped in my timeline:
“This business will get out of control. It will get out of control and we will be lucky to live through it.”
The Hunt for Red October. (Movie)
For a second, when they forced the patrol car door to remain open,I thought shit was about to escalate and we would have another round of Evil White Cop who killed the poor Black Brother.
We are due another L.A. type riot with full burning of half a city and cops simply not giving a fuck but for their precincts and homes.
The NYC PBA (New York City Police Benevolent Association) sent out another video on Twitter of another upstanding young man with a bright future ahead of him having an interaction with police on the subway.
**WARNING: GRAPHIC LANGUAGE** For anybody who thinks yesterday's videos were isolated incidents: NYC POs are confronting this kind of abuse, or worse, on a daily basis. We're past the point of "disrespect." This behavior is inciting lawlessness, putting cops & NYers in danger. pic.twitter.com/hHKJtlvpm5
Followers of this blog know that Miguel and I have mentioned no duty to protect. It is why we advocate for concealed carry.
I have blogged about the Lozito case before. Maksim Gelman went on a stabbing spree. Two NYPD cops watched him stab Joe Lozito in a subway car, then watched Lozito tackle and disarm Gelman, at which point the officers came out from hiding inside the conductor’s cab to arrest Gelman. Lozito sued the NYPD, who defended themselves by affirming that they had no duty to protect and prevent Gelman from stabbing Lozito.
As I watch these two NYPD officers humbly absorb the sexual requests of this beloved choir boy, I think maybe it’s time that the rank and file of the NYPD take Lozito to its logical conclusion.
Clock in. Have a seat in a squad room. Drink coffee for an entire shift. Go home.
There is no reason for them to endure being berated for doing their jobs while being videoed by Twitter vigilantes who are looking for every opportunity to destroy a police officer’s career for a city government that has the backs of the thugs over law and order.
Forget FIDO. No reason to even go on patrol.
Hell, the NYPD could sell it as a green initiative to reduce the carbon footprint of their patrol units to zero.
Let the city of New York fall into chaos where people are eating each other.
If there is one thing I have learned in both politics and safety engineering, you cannot protect self-destructive people from themselves.
The NYPD should stop trying. A 40 hour week in a station house might get boring, but it’s better than having to deal with the vibrancy of New York on a subway.
I guess this story is a few days old, but I had the good fortune to have it miss me until the YouTube algorithm caught up with me.
What the fuck is that?
“This chair will finally teach men to sit.”
What are we, animals? We have to be forced by some modern-day Iron Chair to sit in a viciously awkward and uncomfortable position at the whims of grievance activists.
Fed up with men who luxuriate in their seating, University of Brighton student Laila Laurel, 23, fashioned a pair of his and hers chairs that challenge the way men and women “command space.”
“I was also hugely inspired by Laura Bates’ Everyday Sexism Project, where I read about the struggles and frustrations of women around the world pertaining to men infringing on their space,” Laurel tells Metro.
Reminiscent of medieval torture devices translated through mid-century style, the sycamore and cherry wood chairs encourage women to spread eagle, while forcing men to knock their knees together.
“In order to achieve gender equality it is imperative to consider many different aspects of sexism,” says Laurel, “and so that is why I thought it would be interesting to try to explore political gendered issues around seating.”
For her manhood-crushing efforts, Laurel was awarded the Belmond Award at New Designs in London.
I work with industrial designers. They do good work, making consumer products more ergonomic and comfortable to use. I can respect that.
“I thought it would be interesting to try to explore political gendered issues around seating” is the kind of nonsensical psuedo-intellectual horseshit that makes me want to shut down University programs.
At least the New York Post admits that this is little better than a medieval torture device.
Personally, I’m tired of listening to the annoying utterances of shitty Millenials.
If we’re now giving away awards for imposing 16th century torments on people we don’t like, I want a prize for reinstituting the Scold’s Bridle.
